  • One Spirit

From zazen to zazen, we continue to focus on the mind. Concentrated or attentive to the breath, subtly, without particular effort, body and spirit return to silence.
And when body and mind return to silence, The One Spirit manifests itself naturally.
The body is a manifestation or an emanation of the One Spirit, and the mind as we know it is also an emanation of the One Spirit. It’s a much like water and steam. The whole steam is nothing other than the all of the water.
The One Spirit is not inactive, it is not nothingness, it is not empty, it is not nothing similar to the ordinary mind which thinks and organizes.
In fact, all existences arise from the One Spirit and return to it after extinction, as if the steam fell back to its source.
